Your Invitation to Russia

If you don't already have a friend in Russia who will invite you privately, you are in the position of purchasing an invitation letter (also known as visa support) from a tour company such as ourselves. The process of buying an invitation letter is a single transaction, a customer is not obliged to book accommodation, tours or anything else.

However, please remember: if you book your accommodation with our tour company, your letter of invitation will be gratis, i. e. free. Nice, isn't it?

The invitation sent to you differs by your visa type. Confused? Please, read on.

The most common option is when an independent traveller or a small group decide to go to Russia for a short period of time (say two weeks, after that you may need a different type of invitation). In this case a letter of invitation may be bought on line and will come to you the same or very next day by fax. This faxed copy serves as the basis for a Russian visa application. Exactly the same happens when a visitor decides to take a slightly longer trip (say one month). The difference is that it can not be bought on line and has to be purchased via e-mail using the “contact us” option on our main site www.ostwest.com

For longer stays a business invitation is the best option. Such invitations grant Russian visas for 3, 6 or 12 months. The process of getting a business invitation is not dissimilar to the one described above. Once you get in touch with one of the company's officers, they will advice you on the best options available and your methods of payment.
